2017 is a big year for the ATM Industry Association. Not only is it celebrating its 20th anniversary as an organization, it's leading the world's celebration of the 50th birthday of the Automated Teller Machine. And next week at ATMIA's Cash & Innovation Europe conference in London, Cardtronics will be there in full force as a corporate sponsor of the conference and THE sponsor of the global anniversary celebration.
In addition to leading three knowledge-sharing sessions, Cardtronics will be unveiling Bankzone, the consumer-facing brand of OnHub, a shared transaction hub for financial institutions and where businesses and individuals can easily and securely conduct a variety of banking transactions. OnHub is being launched first in the U.K. and is part of OnATM, a suite of secure, on-demand ATM services that allow financial institutions to improve cash and self-service access while reducing costs and refocusing resources on core business initiatives and exceptional customer engagement.
The three sessions to be led by Cardtronics include:
- Tuesday, June 13 - "The Expanding Role of Independent ATM Deployers" - one of the conference keynote sessions, will feature Cardtronics CEO Steve Rathgaber. He will discuss the evolution of the Independent ATM Deployer during the history of the ATM and how IADs are now lending their expertise to help financial institutions run their own ATMs more efficiently and cost effectively.
- Also, on Tuesday, Jack Vincent, Head of Business Development for Cardtronics division i-design ltd., will present point-of-sale and ROI research establishing that ATMs can outperform other traditional outdoor media in marketing what are known as fast-moving consumer goods, such as household and personal care products. He will be joined by Joel Hopwood of Capture, the U.K.'s leading retail media and shopper marketing agency.
- Wednesday, June 14 - Cardtronics' EVP - Global Product & Marketing Brad Nolan's topic will be "Transform Your ATM Approach - Not Just the Branch" - providing valuable insight on the various tactics a financial institution can deploy to optimize an efficient and convenient customer cash access strategy. While branch transformation is the continued buzz in the FI space, transforming the ATM strategy is a core component of that transformation.
